Dan Shamgar

Dan Shamgar is a leading partner in Meitar’s  Corporate and Securities Group, and is an internationally recognized corporate and securities attorney. 

Dan’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and investments in a wide variety of industries. He has extensive experience in structuring and leading cross-border transactions, representing both domestic and multinational corporations.

Dan advises senior management of publicly traded and private companies in strategic decision-making situations and counsels on corporate governance, shareholder affairs and securities matters. He also represents issuers and underwriters in public offerings in the US and in the UK, and advises public companies with respect to control contest situations.

Dan advises both early-stage and mature companies with respect to their global growth strategies, and he represents domestic and foreign investment funds in their investment transactions and fund formation activities.

Dan lectures in the Faculty of Law of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and in various forums on matters relating to mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and corporate governance.
