Co-Founder, Planck Re (formerly CEO at Earnix)
David Schapiro is a visionary and seasoned executive with over 30 years’ experience in business management and product leadership in global SaaS and enterprise software companies. He co-founded Planck Re in 2017, and prior to that he was CEO at Earnix, a Viola Credit portfolio company.
David is well versed in growing software companies in dynamic markets and has helped define the marketing, product, and overall strategy of leading startups and growth companies, such as Panaya (acquired by Infosys).
Prior to joining Earnix in 2006, David served as Executive Vice President of Markets and Products at ClickSoftware (acquired by Francisco Partners), where he was a key factor in driving the company from its founding, through its IPO and to being the leading provider of service optimization solutions. David has also held a variety of management and development positions in the past at companies like Applied Materials (NASDAQ: AMAT), Scitex, and Control Data Corporation.
David holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University and a Master’s in Computer Science from Bar Ilan University.
